Moufee, Morgan & Emanuelle

October 17th - November 21st / Barcelona

Richeldis Fine Art is delighted to announce the opening exhibition of our flagship gallery in Sant Pere Mes Baix 64, 08003 Barcelona, showcasing the works of Michel Mouffe, Harry Morgan, and Marco Emmanuele. This landmark event will feature a dynamic dialogue between three artists whose practices each explore the intersections of material, form, and history.

Michel Mouffe (b. 1957, Belgium), a prominent figure in contemporary painting, has exhibited interna-tionally since 1983 in Europe, the United States, and Asia. For Mouffe, painting is an existential pursuit, an act that engages the fundamental essence of human experience. His works are deeply contemplative, existing in a liminal space between presence and absence, interiority and exteriority. Mouffe reimagines the traditional boundaries of painting, creating surfaces that seem to breathe with subtle tension, evoking paradoxes of time and space. His forthcoming exhibition at Le Couvent de la Tourette, Le Corbusier, France - will further cement his ongoing exploration of light, silence, and spiritual transcendence.

Harry Morgan (b.1990, Uk) , an emerging British sculptor, is quickly gaining recognition for his innovative use of materials, particularly concrete and glass. Recent acquisitions by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, alongside exhibitions with Hauser & Wirth, underscore Morgan’s rising prominence within the international art world. Morgan’s sculptural practice fuses these contrasting elements—rigid concrete with fragile, translucent glass—into complex structures that explore the tension between industrial materials and fine craftsmanship. His ability to transform these materials into harmonious, yet contradictory forms speaks to his deep understanding of both the physical and symbolic qualities of his chosen media. Morgan’s works push the boundaries of materiality, much like fellow artist Marco Emmanuele, creating a dialogue between form, texture, and light.

Marco Emmanuele (b. 1986, Catania) is a Sicilian artist whose practice centres on the transformation of natural materials—particularly sand and glass—into meditative reflections on time, decay, and renewal. Emmanuele’s process is a meticulous one, involving the grinding of glass dust collected from beaches, which he uses to create pigments that shimmer with both light and historical resonance. His work bridges Renaissance techniques with contemporary environmental concerns, engaging deeply with themes of cyclical change and the passage of time. Like Harry Morgan, Emmanuele explores the fragility and resilience of glass, yet his work delves into its origins in nature, using glass as both a literal and symbolic medium to connect past and present. His latest collection for Richeldis Fine Art marks a significant milestone in his evolving career.
